Rick Ross - Career Criminal

Trilla

After rejecting a football scholarship at LSU to develop his rap career, Rick Ross dropped Port of Miami on the rooftop of the urban poetry school and helped put the glitter and brutality of the Miami streets on the map of Hip-Hop.  Career Criminal is his first single from his sophomore album, Trilla, due late August and picks up where his last album finished.  Somehow, using what sounds like a soundtrack of a RPG video game, Rick Ross manages to bring the perfect string sample to a smart and intense single that is grim, biographical and addictive to listen to.
