Rick Ross - I Wonder Why

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
Beat Billionaire
Album:
None (Promo Single)

Sometimes, it makes sense for an artist to liberate one of his or her best records as a stand-alone release. A high-quality loosie never fails to leave fans hungry for more. The latest effort from Rick Ross? Well, I Wonder Why he didn’t put it on either of his two forthcoming projects; it’s that strong. Atop Beat Billionaire’s rich, clamoring production, Ross showcases his signature, heavy-handed flow as he gets pensive and asks some deep questions that are undoubtedly inspired by the verdict in the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman trail. Don’t take his inquisitiveness as a weakness, though; Ross’ questions are all ones that real G’s will be able to relate to. As stated before, this record is not attached to the Maybach Self Made Vol. 3 compilation (due out in September) nor is it part of the artist’s as yet-unscheduled solo album, Mastermind.
