Rockie Fresh & YP - Insane

Posted 4 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
The Gift
Album:
Unreleased

The scariest thing in the world for any artist is having to choose between what makes the album and what get’s cut. In a surprising twist for Rockie Fresh, he capitalizes off of his own excess with his latest release, Insane, featuring YP. Recorded during the time when YP was working on his Still Awake EP, the song has all the fantasies of being “about that life” such as boasting to be the illest, rocking exclusive jewels and driving the illest cars while having menage trois and getting great dome. Yeah, this finds its way in every rapper’s music from time to time, but thankfully, we’ve heard better from Rockie. Being that both are DJBooth Freestyle Series alumni, this “throw away” track turned out to be worth holding onto. Plus the boardwork by The Gift makes this the perfect drop for Halloween as the organ-droned production will heighten your paranoia like marijuana. No project in mind for Insane but with the anticipation building for Rockies anticipated work, Driving 88, we’re certain something much more crazier than this will hit your speakers.
