Roosh Williams - Day 1

None (Promo Single)

Whether you’re an artist, lawyer, or even a rapper, there’s a very good chance that you remember the first day you fully devoted yourself to whatever your craft may be. On his latest effort, Day 1, Houston rhymeslinger Roosh Williams does just that as he takes us back to the day he first began rapping, which interestingly enough took place while the hungry emcee, and I do mean that literally, was waiting on some grub in the lunch line. The lyricist goes on to fill us in on this paramount day with the backing of The Stompboxx‘s head-nod-worthy production as he raps, “It all started back in middle school was sitting in the lunch line/ Waiting on a cheeseburger, spitting out some punchlines.” Day 1 isn’t attached to any larger project from Williams but the H-Town spitter’s last DJBooth feature, Just Another Night, is still available for free stream and download.
