Russ - Let Me Know

Posted 4 years ago
Producer:
Russ
Album:

A wise man once said, “You can never go wrong with an Isley Brothers sample.” This wise man happens to be completely fictitious, but it serves as a great point nonetheless. DIEMON emcee/producer Russ was clearly taking notes because his latest record Let Me Know features just that, a sample from the Isley Brothers’ At Your Best (You Are Love). On Let Me Know, the Atlanta emcee (who also doubles as the song’s producer) channels the soulfulness and immensely laidback vibe of the song it samples with his candid, open rhymes. If the DJBooth newbie’s latest cut has you hoping for other new tunes from the rapper, fear not because Russ is currently hard at work putting together new material for an upcoming project.
