Wu Wednesday Series

To be honest I don’t know if the Wu Wednesday series has been going on for a minute and flown under my radar, or has just been on hiatus, but who cares? All a hip-hop head really needs to know is that there’s a new RZA track in the world to press play. For new release Blowin in the Wind RZA’s production alias Bobby Digital unleashes yet another supremely eclectic beat featuring oddly places snares, ambient snyths, a library of sound effects and, of course, blowing wind. On the mic the Wu-Tang founder is as enigmatic as ever, dropping a slew off references sure to send heads scrambling to the dictionary to decode. Will we some more Wu dopeness next Wednesday? Hopefully, but for now I recommend now just enjoying Blowin in the Wind.
