S. Fresh - Shawty Really Luv It

It’s quite clear that Shreveport, Lousiana, native S. Fresh has derived a large amount of inspiration from many of his fellow down-South emcees. With an epic, trunk-rattling beat from producer BJ Beats on his new single, Shawty Really Luv It, Fresh is poised to get more than a few heads nodding. With a forward flow that might remind listeners of Shawty Lo and Rick Ross, Fresh’s playful rhyming about bling and crisp tees is certainly not new, but hey, the formula still works. Equal parts brash young emcee and hustler on his grind, Fresh has a lot to bring to the table, including several more club bangers that should hit the streets running very soon. Though his forthcoming debut hasn’t been titled or given a release date, expect it to make a splash on the indie charts when it drops sometime next year.
