Sadat X ft. Pharoahe Monch & Phil G. - This Is Our Thing

Featuring:
Producer:
Grant Parks
Album:
Love, Hell or Right

Last week, rap veteran Sadat X made his first-ever foray into The DJBooth on RunWild, a Glo Pesci-fronted cut off Big Jesslatest Honorable Mention compilation.  He evidently enjoyed the experience, as he’s bounced right back with a feature of his very own. A freshly-minted street single off his forthcoming full-length, This Is Our Thing finds the Brand Nubian alumnus declaring his solidarity with all those carrying the torch for real hip-hop, backed by the celebratory, sampled boardwork of Grant Parks. Two worthy members of Sadat’s hip-hop Cosa Nostra, Queens vet Pharoahe Monch and Chicago buzzmaker Phil G., contribute guest bars. Watch for the headliner’s latest solo set, Love, Hell or Right, to hit record stores and online retailers December 4.
