Sam London - Sugar Pie Honey Bunch

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Sam London, Tripp Caimbridge
Album:
The Introduction EP

If you love Motown as much as I do, you read the title of Sam London‘s debut feature and the opening bars of I Can’t Help Myself and immediately started running through your head. Maybe you even pulled up a new tab to Youtube it. Go ahead, I’ll wait. Though Sugar Pie Honey Bunch shares only a few lines with the ‘65 classic, Four Tops fans are sure to appreciate its upbeat, soulful feel. The bouncy, piano-driven instrumental, created by London in conjunction with Trip Caimbridge, backs breezy verses dedicated to a woman who has the artist’s heart on lock. Ivan Berrios directs the joint’s official visuals, shot amid the palm trees and high-rises of sunny Miami. For Sugar Pie and much more, check out Sam’s latest EP, The Introduction, out now on iTunes.
