After making his DJBooth debut back in October with Art Goons, the aptly-named sayknowledge is back with his newest single, Lap Up, a cut off of his forthcoming LP. On Lap Up, sayknowledge teams up with producers Mars Today and Mikos to provide a laid back, smooth sounding beat for the San Francisco representer to go to work. On the mic, the unsigned up-and-comer showcases some impressive bars, while displaying a solid flow that hip-hop fans should…wait for it…lap up. If you’re looking for more from sayknowledge, be sure to check out his upcoming album, Vibe Called Quest, which drops January 15. In the meantime, you can count on The DJBooth to keep you up to date with the latest info.
