The 808 Experiment Vol. 3

Some, like yours truly, think there’s no better combo than good music, food, and drinks; others, Charlie Sheen for example, might prefer strippers and coke. On Smoke & Ride Out, the latest leak from SMKA’s upcoming The 808 Experiment, Vol 3 mixtape, Scar fills us in on one of his favorite combos. Also featured on the song are Freestyle series alums El Prez and Aleon Craft, whose rap styles contrast each other both in vocal inflection and flow. Scar’s opener finds him sticking to the two subjects listed in the title, but would you expect anything different? Prez matches the headliner’s relaxed vibe on his middle 16, and Aleon ends the record strong with a more hectic third verse. Whether the weather in your area code is snowy (New York) or sunny (Los Angeles, Atlanta, Texas, basically anywhere not New York) you can put this track into rotation to brighten up the mood. The 808 Experiment, Vol 3, drops this April.
