Sean Simmons ft. Mel Buckley - Nuvo

Posted 6 years ago
Producer:
Vinny Vendito
Album:
Swaggerriffic

This past October, Booth readers co-signed Sean SimmonsJump On It, a single that reminded many of something Nelly would have made back when he was the #1 artist in urban music.  Fast-forward ten months, and the West Palm Beach native has graciously given us the privilege to premiere a track off his forthcoming Swaggerriffic LP.  On the previously-unreleased cut, Sean orders up a couple shots of Nuvo as he and a special lady prepare to step out onto the dancefloor.  Though Mel Buckley once again handles hook duties, Simmons doesn’t miss the opportunity to show off his versatility, delivering sung middle bars as well as flowed opening and closing verses over Vinny Ventido‘s bouncy beat.  “Swag” may be an overused term, but sometimes the shoe simply fits—if there’s one artist who can back up all his big talk, it’s Sean Simmons!
