Being Cool Doesn't Pay the Bills

Being cool may not pay the bills, but Booth-acclaimed up-and-comer Sene is confident that he won’t be pinching pennies for much longer.  On Departure Time, a newly-leaked cut, the Brooklyn native lets listeners know just how sure he is that he’s headed to the top. Over South Floridian producer Numonics’ lush blend of piano, strings and electric guitar, the emcee delivers more of the poetically ambitious rhymes that made his last feature, WonLover, a hit in the Booth: “Always been a climber, you know I never half-step / so naturally I use the clouds as my address.” Listeners can expect plenty more hot beats and high-caliber guest features on Numonics’ forthcoming, DJ RTC-mixed street album, set to hit the net sometime in January 2010.
