Sha Stimuli ft. Freeway & Young Chris - Move Back

Posted 7 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Just Blaze
Album:
My Soul to Keep

If you see Sha Stimuli looking like he has some serious weight on his shoulders, you can chalk it up to his downright titanic responsibilities. Like a modern-day Atlas, the Brooklyn buzzmaker’s been carrying his hood, his city, the hip-hop game, hell, the whole planet on his back! On this album inclusion (not selected as a single – yet), the artist teams up with two fellow Northeastern giants to issue an ultimatum to those who would stand in the way of his mythologically-proportioned grind: Move Back or get crushed. Just Blaze‘s tension-fraught, soul-sampled beat sets the stage for block-repping rhymes from Sha, Freeway and Young Chris. Though the State Property cohorts sound right at home here, it’s the headliner who (arguably) shines brightest, spitting engaging bars peppered with clever similes and pop-culture references (he even manages to make an Elmo name-drop sound “street!’). Fans can find Get Back, reader-acclaimed lead single Follow the Leader and much more on Sha Stimuli’s My Soul to Keep LP, set to drop Oct. 27, via Chambermusik Records/E1.
