“A rapper has taken Atlanta by storm over the past two months.”  When you read that statement, who was the first artist that came to mind? LudacrisYoung JeezyT.I.?  While all three have taken the ATL by storm at one time or another, the mystery artist behind that opening statement is…drum roll please… D4L’s Shawty Lo.  (If you’re surprised you shouldn’t be.)  Reppin’ Bankhead and his ultra ‘slow flow,’ the D4L founder is blowing up the radio, the dance floors and the strip clubs with his debut solo single, Dey Know.  After releasing a plethora of remixes featuring artists Guerilla Zoe and E-40, Shawty Lo used his rising star status and scooped up heavy hitters Young Jeezy, Ludacris, Plies and Lil’ Wayne for an official remix.  Amongst the five MCs I think it’s safe to say: Dey Know.
