Artist: Sheek Louch
Track: Choppin Rocks
Producer: Megaman (For The Trafficker Management)
Album: Guerilla Warefare

Following the lukewarm reception to his previous two street singles, Two Turntables and a Mic and We Spray Crowds, D-Block’s Sheek Louch churns out yet another buzz track from his upcoming album, Gorilla Warfare.  For this go-round, the Wolf raps about his pre-Hip Hop past when he was busy Choppin’ Rocks overnight.  While Sheek brings back his old street swagger and classic punchlines (Why cop the milk when I can buy the whole cow?), it is the hardcore production of Megaman –which includes a Biggie sample (from the Pac duet, Runnin’) – that gives Choppin’ Rocks its ammunition.  Gorilla Warfare hits stores February 5th.
