Silent Knight ft. Homeboy Sandman & MadKem - No Fare

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
DJ Dyllemma
Album:

Featured on our front page last week, Impossible Dream lead single Last Call saw The Band Called FUSE frontman Silent Knight narrating his extended grieving process following his split with the woman he loved. With No Fare, the latest single selection off his next solo project, the Brooklyn emcee switches focus from the aftermath of a breakup to its potential beforemath—which, on a side note, I didn’t realize was an actual word till I Googled it just now. Over DJ Dyllemma‘s chopped string/vocal loops, the artist vividly depicts the “struggling to make it work” stage of a relationship. Queens neighbors Homeboy Sandman and MadKem provide moral support, recounting similar experiences on the cut’s front two-thirds. Fans will be able to find this record and much more on Busy Is My Best Friend II, due out April 19, via Elementality Productions, LLC.
