Fantasy football leagues are almost over and out this year, so I’m trying to find some new ways to invest my oh-so-talented hypothetical wisdom (here I come, fantasy golf!). But if there was a rap fantasy league, and there really should be, my waivers would already be pending for Memphis emcee Skewby - the reason he’s still unsigned is a mystery to me. Today the Freestyle Series alum is here to post some big numbers yet again with the premiere of Everyday, a new leak from his forthcoming LP. Floating seamlessly over a cool melody from Charlie White and Premo (no, not Primo), Skewby drops knowledge on why the industry can be so hard for up-and-comers with lines like, “Building up my grammar, finding samples I can pan out/ Now I’m in the game and everybody got they hand out.” If you liked this quick strike touchdown drive be sure to check out Skewby’s More or Less LP, dropping via yours truly December 21, just in time for the playoffs.
