Skyzoo - Range Rover Rhythm

Jahlil Beats

I know what y’all are thinking: if Skyzoo regularly drives a Range Rover around his native Brooklyn, he must love going around the block repeatedly and squeezing into tiny parking spaces while five taxi drivers lean on their horns behind him. OK, maybe that’s just what I was thinking. Those who are a little better at suspending their disbelief, however, are sure to appreciate Range Rover Rhythm, the latest single off the Duck Down signee’s sophomore set. Here, a slow-burning Jahlil Beats production backs the lyrical powerhouse as he chronicles his constant quest for revenue, in the process showcasing plenty of the multifaceted wordplay that his fans have come to know and love. Director Alex V. Ghassan documents the artist’s hustle in a low-key, black-and-white video. Released last fall, Skyzoo’s A Dream Deferred LP is available now in stores and online.
