Slim Thug ft. Z-Ro & Paul Wall - Pokin Out

Posted 2 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Scoop DeVille

What’cha know about slab spokes Pokin’ Out?” Whether you’re an expert or you have no damn idea what I’m talking about, chance are you’ll learn a few new things from Slim Thug‘s latest single—which just so happens to be a Booth-exclusive world premiere. This freshly-minted promo cut finds Thugga describing his customized whip in loving detail, from its woodgrain interior, to its wheels, to the Sleep Number mattress it features in lieu of a back seat. Fellow Houston notables Paul Wall and Z-Ro provide, respectively, a car-crazy guest verse and a catchy, sung chorus. The highlight of the Baby Bash-penned joint, however, is Scoop DeVille‘s instrumental; ingeniously, the beatsmith grabs the keyboard hook from Joe Jackson’s 1982 New Wave hit, Steppin’ Out. Pokin’ isn’t part of a larger project, but fans can keep it locked for all the latest slab anthems from Slim Thug and his H-Town neighbors.
