Smokey Robotic - GANDHI

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
!llmind and Konrad OldMoney
Album:

One of the stranger aspects of Mohandas K. GANDHI‘s biography was his habit of sleeping next to young, nude women. While the Indian nationalist leader insisted the practice was intended to test his sexual purity, it’s led some to speculate that he simply enjoyed spending time with young, nude women. If the latter was the case, he’s in good company. On their latest album, Seer and Father Dude of NYC underground hip-hop crew Smokey Robotic use the historical figure as shorthand for their own fondness for the female of the species. Crewmates !llmind and Konrad Oldmoney craft a dancefloor-ready backdrop for their vocals, and T.S. Pfeffer comes together with Robert McHugh to craft the cut’s trippy, animated visuals. Fans can find Gandhi and many more fresh, eclectic jams on the group’s DJBooth-hosted MUSIUM LP, available now for free streaming and purchase.
