Smokey Robotic ft. Skyzoo - Heroin (Remix)

!llmind & Konrad
The Shark & The Helicopter

While the sweet sticky icky has always been a part of the hip-hop landscape, the last couple years has seen the elevation of marijuana rap into the mainstream. Well, since Smokey Robotic have already proven to be trendsetters, so maybe in another five years we’ll be hearing odes to needle pushing and the joys of Heroin. (Hey kids, that was a joke. Heroin’s some bad, bad stuff, unless you’re using it as a musical metaphor.) DEA warnings aside, the remix to Smokey’s narcotic offering is every bit as woozy as the original, using !llmind and Konrad’s see-saw synths and heavy live drums to pounding effect. But this time around none other than The Great Debater himself Skyzoo joins the lyrical fray alongside Robotic emcees Seer and Father Dude, reminding the ladies that one night with him will have them hooked like they just injected some of that raw Malaysian White Tiger. While this version isn’t on it, we promise that Smokey Robotic’s The Shark & The Helicopter album is every bit as addictive, only without the dehabilitating withdrawal symptoms, so why not stream and download it right now? Come on, the first one’s free.
