SNDCLSH - Thieves

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Lupe Fiasco, DJ Kue
Album:
None (Promo Single)

Lupe Fiasco‘s name isn’t exactly synonymous with club music but, despite his lyrically-oriented reputation, the Windy City heavyweight enjoys a dancefloor-scorching beat as much as the next man. In order to indulge that side of his musical tastes, the emcee formed SNDCLSH, a joint venture with longtime friend and DJ Sky Gellatly. Today, the duo make their collective DJBooth debut with Thieves, a futuristic banger fueled by a throbbing synth-bassline and booming four-on-the-floor percussion. In addition to co-producing the joint with Gellatly and guest contributor DJ Kue, Fiasco handles vocal duties, delivering his verses and chorus through a haze of reverb and Autotune. Like what you’re hearing? Then stay tuned; this joint isn’t part of a larger project, but we’ll keep you posted on SNDCLSH’s plans in the weeks and months ahead.
