Sneakas x Bishop Lamont - That’s What She Said

Featuring:
Producer:
De Notes
Album:
There's A Rapp For That / The Layover

For obvious reasons, I feel obligated to open my review of Sneakas’ latest video single with a killer “That’s What She Said” joke but, now that I’ve been put on the spot, I have to admit that it’s a little harder than it looks. I’ve been working at it for 15 minutes, and nothing’s coming out. I mean, at this rate I’m going to be up all night. Oh well—there’s no sense in trying to force it. Two men who are much more skilled at sexual innuendo than I, Sneakas and Bishop Lamont do their best Michael Scott on this J.R. Griffin-directed music video. De Notes provides a fitting backdrop for the duo’s lyrical comedy routine, flipping a lightly jazzy piano sample as they deliver verses packed with dope flows and double entendres. No doubt about it, Sneakas and Lamont came hard on this one. If you’re feeling it, more bangers await on the former’s There’s a Rapp for That project and the latter’s The Layover street album, both of which as yet lack a solid drop date.
