Snipes ft. KL & BC - Freakin’ You

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
KingPin Da' Composer
Album:
Economic Development

Older, more seasoned DJBooth readers might recall a fond memory or two when they hear the latest feature from emcee Snipes. While video single Freakin’ You is “new,” the song’s source material is based heavily on Jodeci’s old-school (‘95) baby-making jam of the same name. Snipes puts a refreshing spin on the R&B classic, contributing a few lite bar verses to KingPin Da’ Composer’s sample-based, twisting production. Joining the Memphis emcee are KL and BC, who share the spotlight, attempting to woo their ladies with a smooth southern styles. Freakin’ You is a standout off Snipes’ new album, Economic Development, available for purchase via the artist’s Bandcamp.
