So$a the Man

Booth newcomer So$a Man is more qualified than most to talk about achieving big dreams; though he started at the very bottom, the Bahamian rapper/singer’s dedication to the independent grind led him to make history by becoming the first representative of his island nation to get a video played on Caribbean music network Tempo. Newly-leaked cut I Dream, finds Stypz Productions beatsmith Rik Carey delivering an uplifting, string-piano instrumental as So$a describes his life philosophy. Recounting how both he and his mother managed to beat the odds through hard work, determination and positivity, the rapper reminds us that anyone can succeed, as long as they stay true to themselves and keep their focus on what really matters: “See, you ain’t gotta be rich just to be happy, or sing like T-Pain, like you from Tallahassee/ I did it all my way, ushered in a new dream, I did it right at home, killed the whole local scene…” Digging this smooth motivational jam? Keep it locked for the latest on the up-and-comer’s So$a the Man LP, set to drop in July.
