Soul Khan ft. Akie Bermiss - Fahrenheit

Posted about 6 years ago
Producer:
Marink
Album:
Soul Like Khan

Those who say Soul Khan can’t be beat clearly weren’t in Atlanta the other week when our very own DJ Z bested the Brown Bag All-Stars emcee in a Yo-Yo battle (seriously). Unfortunately for Z though, when it comes to slightly more important skills, like rapping, Khan’s still brings the heat like Pat Riley. With the sounds of his superior DJBooth Freestyle still ringing in our ears, Soul’s back on our pages with Fahrenheit, a new record that once again proves it’s a very, very bad idea to mess with the man. Sure producer Marink lays down a hard but haunting beat and vocalist Akie Bermiss comes in for high-quality hook, but as always it’s his destructive rhymes that hit hardest: “Here are a few of the things I’d burn: Cartier glasses and Louis V purses, money or the fools that think that she’s worth it / Nikes…” Well there goes all his corporate sponsorships. For more lyrically astute and completely uncompromising rhymes be sure to cop Soul Khan’s upcoming album Soul Like Khan, hitting eardrums everywhere on November 16.
