Album:
Memoirs From Under the Long White Cloud

UPDATE: “Heroes” is no longer available to stream.

At the top of the month, Vacaville, Cali rhymesayer Uptown Swuite and New Zealand-based rapper/producer SoulChef brought us the exclusive premiere of Aotearoa Dedicated, their debut single as duo SoulSwuite and the inaugural song release off their forthcoming street album. Today, the twosome pick up right where they left off with follow-up Heroes, also making its world premiere on our front page. Here, SoulChef once again showcases his talent for creating immersive soundscapes; his deftly-chopped guitar, flute and vocal samples back poetic verses recounting the twosome’s recent travels, both geographical and spiritual. Interest piqued? Then stay tuned; Memoirs From Under the Long White Cloud still lacks a drop date, but we’ll keep you supplied with release details and further singles as they emerge.
