Sound Fx - Apathy

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
Bearface
Album:
Unreleased

Golden State duo Sound Fx‘s last feature, late-January single Nothing Less, saw rhymesayer Dupree ruefully reflecting on modern romance in the wake of his split with a girl he fully expected to be The One. Apathy, a previously-unreleased cut that won’t be featured on the group’s forthcoming album, continues in a similar vein, with producer Bearface serving up a hazy, soul-sampled backdrop for the duo’s poignant recollections of a past love. Gert Van Naber of Artwork Since 1991 provides some kaleidoscopic official visuals to accompany the headphone-ready cut. While this joint, as mentioned above, won’t be appearing on the set, those who like what they’re hearing are sure to appreciate what Sound Fx bring to the table on their forthcoming full-length, EMPATHY. Keep it locked for further details on the project, which as yet lacks a solid drop date.
