SQUiRE - Drowning

Even the most dedicated hustlers occasionally experience moments of self-doubt, distraction and weakness, but it takes a brave artist to let fans see him in his darkest hour. On Drowning, a freshly-minted single off his next full-length, Booth newcomer SQUiRE does just that. A moody instrumental by DIEMON Records signee (and DJBooth Top Prospect) Russ flips a smoky guitar/muted brass sample as the Harlem representative calls himself out for “being passive on his passion” and failing to focus on his music. For Drowning and much more, cop the artist’s SQUiREViLLE EP when it drops digitally this September.
