Stalley ft. Rashad - Summer in America

I wasn’t sure how Stalley was going to fit within Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group structure, but musically for Stalley ain’t a damn thing changed. His music still has that soulful sound that you’ve come to expect, especially after the release of his latest project Lincoln Way Nights (Intelligent Trunk Music). In the midst of a heat wave, Stalley serves up a dope summer cut featuring Rashad, Summer In America, which serves a dual purpose as both a Gil Scott-Heron tribute and some perfect grill-side companion music. With Rashad also putting in work as the producer, this is the perfect song to help conjure up images of hot dogs and burgers on the grill, a brew in hand and the track playing sets the right summer time atmosphere. And on a closing note, R.I.P. Gil Scott-Heron, you will be missed.
