StartYourOwnRebellion - Infamous

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
07017
Album:
Terrrorist

Ever since dropping off the reader-acclaimed Wild & Crazy back in summer of 2012, the Infamous band of musical outlaws known as StartYourOwnRebellion has been lying low in an effort to keep their movements secret from their enemies. Now, though, the game has changed—for one thing, the group’s parted ways with former label home Dreamville—and they’re done playing it safe. On this cut, part of a collection of new songs SYOR plans to release via its blog, the crew showcases a significantly overhauled sound. Though in-house beatsmith 07017‘s instrumental is synthetic and dubstep-infused, it still has the cinematic sweep of the group’s past features, and his colleagues’ sung and rapped bars are as far-out as we’ve come to expect. Terrorist currently lacks a drop date, but we’ll keep you posted on the set as further details emerge.
