Statik Selektah ft. Ab-Soul, Jon Connor, Logic & Francesca - Alarm Clock

What Goes Around

There’s nothing better than hearing a song you love first thing in the morning… well, until you develop an association between the song and having to get up for work, and start to hate it. That part really f**king sucks. For that reason, you should resist the temptation to use Statik Selektah‘s latest single as a literal Alarm Clock. It’ll sound better in the afternoon anyway, thanks to the headliner’s warm, breezy production and the intricate, yet laid-back bars of guest spitters Ab-Soul, Jon Connor and Logic. Francesca, the Puerto Rican pop songstress who brought us Boy way back in 2008, provides some silky chorus vocals. For Alarm Clock, previous single The Imperial and more, cop Statik’s What Goes Around LP when it drops August 19, via Showoff Records/Duck Down Music.
