Walks down Memory Lane can be fun at times, especially when the trip is surrounded by memories of triumph or growth.  This is the theme of the brand new Statik Selektah record Believe In The S, featuring REKS, JFK, Ea$y Money and Alias. Released as a means of making good on a promise to fans if he reached 30K followers on Twitter, the piano laced track is extremely light and airy compared to his typical hardcore style of production. Every emcee comes correct, but as he often does, for my money REKS steals the show with his opening verse while Selektah shows off his nimble scratching techniques with cuts from several different well known songs to drive the point of the track home.  S was originally recorded as a promotional track for his Thursday satellite radio show on Shade 45 and will also be featured on his Showoff Records compilation, set to be released in 2012.
