Statik Selektah ft. Skyzoo, Sha Stimuli & JFK - Different Day Same Sh*t

Featuring:
Producer:
Statik Selektah
Album:
Pre-Game EP

Ever feel like your life is just comprised of the same sh*t happening on different days, like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day but the exact opposite? Well Boston-based producer/turntablist extraordinaire Statik Selektah can relate, and he’s brought along some friends to drive home the point. On his aptly-titled new leak Different Day Same Sh*t Statik shows that not only can he put together a fresh beat (the production on this is a certified head-nodder), the man runs with a lyrically deep crowd. Starting off the festivities (if such a serious song can be called “festive”) is Booth newcomer JFK, whose storyteller flow is quickly joined by fellow microphone killers Skyzoo and Sha Stimuli, who take turns lyrically examining some of the darkest days America has ever seen in search of a glimmer of hope. Luckily December 15 won’t be just another day full of the same, tired hip-hop sh*t. That’s the day Statik releases his heavily-anticipated new project the Pre-Game EP, so there’s your glimmer of hope right there.
