Statik Selektah ft. Bun B, Jared Evan & Posdnous - God Knows

Featuring:
Producer:
Statik Selektah

With his next solo set just one short week away from release, Statik Selektah returns to get heads buzzing even louder with another fresh single off the project. If you’re a Beach Boys fan, you likely read the title “God Knows” and thought of the similarly-titled God Only Knows off classic LP Pet Sounds. Sure enough, that’s exactly what the Boston heavyweight interpolates to create this cut’s gorgeous instrumental backdrop. UGK lifer Bun B and De La Soul member Posdnous come with introspective bars to match the beat, and Booth fave Jared Evan performs a gentle, falsetto-laced rendition of Brian Wilson’s original chorus. Like what you’re hearing? Then be sure to cop What Goes Around when it hits record stores and online retailers next Tuesday, August 19.
