Statik Selektah ft. Wais P (The Pimp) - Gz, Pimps, Hustlers

Statik Selektah

Every record has its intended audience. Statik Selektah‘s latest single? It’s dedicated to “the Gz, the Pimps and the Hustlers.” Even if you don’t fit into any of those three categories—Lord knows I don’t—you should still be able to appreciate this joint, a soulful street banger featuring guest bars by Wais P. Fresh off lending his flow to Fiend‘s Drop Top Chevy, the Brooklynite jumps on Statik’s sampled beat to chronicle his paper chase and reminisce about his wild youth in engaging verses. Director Smokestack provides visual corroboration of the rapper’s braggadocious bars. Fans can find Gz, Pimps, Hustlers, previously-featured single The Spark and much more on the Boston beatsmith’s Extended Play LP, available now in stores and online.
