Streets Buchanon ft. U-N-I, Lex One & BK Cyph - Different Over Here

Posted 7 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Lex One
Album:
Crooks & Castles Presents: Ink Made Me a Monster

Often, the best way for a Booth newcomer to earn a place in readers’ hearts is to come flanked by a few established favorites, and, on his first feature, Streets Buchanon couldn’t be in better company; leaked to the ‘net the week before last, this mixtape cut finds the Ft. Lauderdale native joining forces with producer/emcee Lex One as well as Thurzday and Y.O. of Booth-beloved duo U-N-I to let listeners know that, regardless of what they’re used to, things are Different Over Here.  As he did on his last feature, Lex does double-duty on the mic and behind the boards—here, he contributes a bombastic, slightly chaotic beat with a horn-heavy sound that works especially well for the deeper-voiced collaborators—Thurzday’s agile, aggressive verse is a highlight, and Brooklyn native BK Cyph (another new face) also contributes some standout rhymes.  Different Over Here, as well as Lex One’s previously-featured Heat, can be found on Streets’ forthcoming Crooks & Castles Presents: Ink Made Me a Monster mixtape, coming soon.
