Demand More: The Gold Edition

With a title like Demand More 2, is it any wonder that, a year and change after the release of STSBooth-sponsored street album, fans are… well… demanding more? Never one to neglect the needs of The People, the Philly representative and freestyle series alumnus has just released an expanded, deluxe edition of the tape. One of several new additions, this remix finds STS sprucing up an old favorite with some fresh rhymes – courtesy of both himself and a street-certified homey. Joining the headliner over Sean C & LV‘s infectious blend of brass fanfare (provided by Dap Kings trumpet-player Dave Guy) and burbling synths, Slaughterhouse flame-spitter Joell Ortiz bombards his peers with assonance-heavy trash talk: “I’m not a critic but what you’re spittin’ is pitiful / I dissed you direct ‘cause you’re too dumb to catch a subliminal.” Better than the original? As always, I’ll let you have the final say; before you start debating, though, head on down to STS’ official site to download your own copy of Demand More G.O.L.D. Edition.
