Styles P - I Know

Posted 4 years ago
Jahlil Beats

With the years of experience he’s racked up in the coke game and the music game, it would take Styles P. a whole grip of albums to impart all the knowledge that he possesses. On new single I Know, the NYC street vet draws just a bucket or two from his well of lyrical wisdom. Jahlil Beats mans the boards on this grimy street banger, layering staccato piano chords and sizzling synths over midtempo percussion as the D-Block member shares his expertise on firefights (“Shoot a n**ga first, swatch the sucka fall.”), narcotics (“If you ain’t high the first time, try another dose”) and his own place in the game (“There will never be another Ghost.”). Styles P’s next project, The World’s Most Hardest MC, doesn’t drop till November 13, but fans can cop this single on iTunes using the purchase button above.
