Talib Kweli ft. Miguel - Come Here

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Sean C and LV
Album:

Hip-hop veteran Talib Kweli may be a Prisoner of Conscious but, on the bright side, he’s permitted the occasional conjugal visit. On Come Here, the latest single off his fifth studio album, the Brooklyn emcee offers us (and perhaps Rick Ross, whom he recently criticized for lyrics which appeared to condone rape) a crash course on how to treat a lady. Backed by Sean C & LV‘s soulful production, the emcee invites a female companion to get “comfortable as a Huxtable” as he celebrates her many charms. Just in case his poetic bars aren’t enough to win her over, R&B hitmaker Miguel tops the record off with a characteristically suave guest hook and bridge. For this joint, previous single Upper Echelon and much more, check out Kweli’s latest LP when it drops Tuesday, May 7.
