Talib Kweli ft. Joell Ortiz & Blu - Hostile Gospel (Remix)

Posted 8 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Just Blaze
Album:
Eardrum

On the fourth single from his third solo album Eardrum, Talib Kweli preaches the Hostile Gospel; a request for deliverance from our surrounding community’s crises.  Evidently, Kweli’s message is vibin’ through neighborhoods across the country, since two underrated underground MCs have hopped aboard the remix subway.  Fellow Brooklynite, Joell Ortiz, rhymes about staying true to yourself (and in his case, it got him released from Aftermath) and West Coast rapper Blu discusses the stereotypical nature of hip-hop.  Hopefully, with this boost of underground support, the Hostile Gospel will spread sooner rather than later.
