Tech N9ne - Strangeulation Cypher

For any semi-serious Kung Fu movie fans, The Game of Death is one of the genre’s biggest What Ifs. The premise was a simple yet intriguing one that is centered around a tiered building of masters in various fields of martial arts. When you look at the original version of almost 40 minutes, it’s tough to find a much more noteworthy pagoda of opponents besides Tech N9ne‘s Strange Music roster. The merciless leader of the independent powerhouse brings the whole army of Godemis, Stevie Stone, MURS, Wrekonize, Bernz, Kutt Calhoun, Ubiquitous, Prozak, and Krizz Kaliko along for a Strangeulation Cypher. Each emcee on the record, which is broken up into several tracks on Tech’s Strangeulation album, bodies the high octane beat in a unique style that cannot be duplicated. If there ever is an annual tournament of labels battling each other, you already know that Strange Music will be a heavy favorite.
