Teedra Moses - Invitation

Lately Rick Ross has been signing new artists to his Maybach Music Group like Diddy signs checks, like DMX signs bail bonds, like deaf people…well…sign. The latest addition to Ross’ ever growing roster is Teedra Moses, a New Orleans born, Los Angeles raised soulstress that’s making her DJBooth debut today after years of grinding with new single Invitation. True to its title the song’s production is warmly inviting, floating by on airy synths only punctuated by the occasional sharp snares (you can thank Trackademicks for mixing up that sweet concoction). As for Teedra’s vocals, she takes the subtle approach on Invitation, putting aside the vocals fireworks in favor of some relatable but still pitch perfect verses; she’s much more Amerie than Mary J. Blige (at least on this song). So how about it Booth Nation? Is this one R&B invitation you’ll be accepting? Either way, with Ross’ backing you can expect to hear much more from Moses in the near future, so you might as well get yourself fully informed and check out her new free project, Luxurious Underground, available online now.
