The Benchwarmers Clique ft. Knowledge Medina - Galactic Matters

Posted 4 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Jewbei
Album:
Late Money

I won’t lie. While The Benchwarmers Clique has been featured on The DJBooth before, their last track was February’s Droppin Bombs, let the record books show that July 18 was the day they truly grabbed my attention. For their latest effort the South Florida crew nabs a beat from Jewbei that opens with an openly hilarious clip and then transitions into an instrumental that carries a heavy dose of that classic underground style. From there it’s up to Benchwarmers Joka Wild and Travisty, along with guest and fellow Floridian Knowledge Medina, to match the beat’s unique style with rhymes that reference everything from Silence of the Lambs to Chris Farley. Now that they have my attention, the Clique plans on keeping it by dropping a series of leaks leading up to the release of their upcoming Late Money album.
