The Bullitts ft. Jay Electronica - Murder Death Kill

Posted 2 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Jeymes Samuel
Album:
THEY DIE BY DAWN & Other Short Stories

Back in April, Jeymes “The Bullitts” Samuel introduced his genre-defying musical stylings to our pages with They Die By Dawn, a Spaghetti Western-style jam which just so happened to pack guest bars from two of the most gifted lyricists in the game, Yasiin Bey and Jay Electronica. Eccentric as the singer/songwriter/film director’s sound may be, the UK buzzmaker is nothing if not consistent: not only does freshly-released follow-up Murder Death Kill follow in its predecessor’s footsteps aesthetically, featuring Ennio Morricone-inspired instrumentation and blood-spattered subject matter, but it boasts another guest 16 from the elusive Jay Elec, who rocks the mic every bit as masterfully as we’ve come to expect. Unlike the aforementioned joint, however, this joint includes vocals from Bullitts himself; the headliner shows off his falsetto on the opening verse and chorus. THEY DIE BY DAWN & Other Short Stories is currently unscheduled, but we’ll keep you supplied with further singles and release details leading up to the set’s eventual arrival.
