The Foreign Exchange ft. Eric Roberson & Shana Tucker - Better

Producer:

Album:
Love In Flying Colors

Thought The Foreign Exchange‘s last feature, Call It Home / Pity, was some good sh*t? Well, their latest single is Better. By which I mean, that’s the record’s title. Whether it’s superior, well, you’ll have to decide for yourself. Released along with official visuals by Kenneth Price, this joint finds Phonte looking back ruefully on a failed marriage: “Slowed it down, took a vow of matrimony / Who woulda guessed it all ended in acrimony?” Beatsmith Nicolay crafts a brisk, jazzy keyboard groove to back his crewmate’s reflections on monogamy. Singers Eric Roberson and Shana Tucker provide vocal support throughout the cut. Fans can find Better and much more on The Foreign Exchange’s Love in Flying Colors LP, available in stores and online as of September 2013.
