The Roots ft. Patty Crash - Never

Producer:
The Roots
Album:

As countless reviewers have noted, The Roots’ latest full-length is a heady concept piece that bears little resemblance to your typical hip-hop album. Be that as it may, the project does feature a number of tracks equipped with beats, hooks and rapped bars. Released along with eerie visuals by Dano Cerny, new single Never strikes a balance between experimentation and tradition. Over a stark, dissonant beat by his crewmates, frontman Black Thought offers some grim lyrical reflections on the street life. Patty Crash lends her unique, slurred vocals to the record’s chorus. Featuring Never, previous single Tomorrow and much more, ...and then you shoot your cousin is available now in stores and online.
