THURZ ft. Strong Arm Steady - Colors

Posted about 4 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Ro Blvd
Album:

Ladies who say “I love you” then go sleep with your homies, self-proclaimed gangsters who run to the cops the moment shots ring out, so-called heads who don’t recognize THURZ as one of the most talented emcees repping the West—what do these people have in common? They’re all fake as f**k. On the latest single off his DJBooth-hosted L.A. Riot tape, the Los Angeles rhymesayer sets out to expose the true Colors of all those men and women who claim to be something they aren’t. Frequent collaborator Ro Blvd provides a piano-loop backdrop for his accusatory bars, as well as the guest rhymes of Cali’s Strong Arm Steady Gang. Mister Whitmore illustrates the record’s theme with some innovative visuals. L.A. Riot is available now for free streaming and download. Watch for the follow up, the 517 W Queen Tape (featuring singles Are You Not?, L.N.S. and Keep the Faith), to hit The DJBooth in the near future.
