T.I. x Trae Tha Truth - Check This, Dig That

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Sanchez Holmes
Album:

Along with the 16 jams featured on the album proper, the Best Buy edition of T.I.‘s eighth full-length boasted a trio of extra cuts—one of which, paper-stacking anthem Check This, Dig That, has now received the visual treatment courtesy of director PhillyFlyBoy. The official video, depicting Tip spitting in the midst of a high-stakes dice game, provides an understated metaphor for the rapper’s finance-focused bars: “My broker calls, says my stocks is / Up 20 percent so my profits / Increasing even in my absence / So my attitude is obnoxious.” Joining the headliner over Sanchez Holmes’ imperious, 808-driven grooves, Trae Tha Truth lends his raspy flow to verse three. For this joint and many more bangers, head down to your local Best Buy and cop Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head, available as of December 2012, or download Tip’s Weezy-assisted current single Wit Me on iTunes.
